The RMS Queen Mary is a British ocean liner built in the 1930s that sailed the North Atlantic for decades before retiring from service. After its final voyage across the Atlantic, the ship was towed to Long Beach where it has remained permanently moored, becoming an iconic symbol of the city's maritime heritage and waterfront identity.

Today the Queen Mary operates as an award-winning hotel and cultural destination, offering hotel rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, guided tours, and special event spaces. Visitors can explore the ship's Art Deco design, walk the decks where thousands of passengers once traveled, and learn the history of oceangoing travel during the ship's operational years.

For Long Beach families, the Queen Mary represents the kind of landmark that becomes part of household memories—a school outing, a visitor's first day in the city, an evening stroll along the water. Building a financial plan that protects those memories and the years ahead is what term life insurance does: it covers the working years when your household would struggle most without your income.
